Friends of White Notley PTA

Our mission statement at Friends of White Notley PTA is:

To develop effective relationships between the school and parents. To help advance the development of pupils.

We are a registered charity with the Charity Commission for England and Wales; Charity Number 11.5148. As a charity, we must abide by their rules and regulations and are bound by our Constitution, which sets out the rules for how we operate as a PTA. To see a copy of the Constitution, please ask a member of the PTA committee.

The friends of White Notley PTA is a friendly, hard-working and enthusiastic group of parents, carers and staff who run fund-raising events throughout the year to enhance the curriculum for the pupils of our school.

The PTA's annual fundraising efforts include;

  • Christmas Fayre

  • Summer Fete

  • Bunny Hunt

From which we have raised an amazing £4817.19 in the last financial year.

These events are great fun for everyone and, as well as raising much needed funds, it is a chance for friends and family to share in the wonderful community spirit we have at White Notley Primary School and is a lovely opportunity to socialise and make new friends.

Throughout the last financial year, the PTA have donated funds for the new DT cupboard and resources needed for this, gardening equipment including a new potting greenhouse and purchased a new table tennis table. The PTA have also contributed to the Year 6 Leaver's hoodies, class trips and the Christmas Pantomime.

As a result of the current economic climate we decided to forgo the usual Mother's Day and Father's Day fundraising and instead donated our time and resources for this as well as created commemorative bookmarks for the King's Coronation for every child.

If you would like to volunteer time and help out the Friends of White Notley PTA, we would love to have you on board to join the friendly team! Please email: whitenotleypta@gmail.com or visit us on Facebook @ Friends of White Notley School PTA.
